Nature of flat metal provides a subtle shock absorbency and a sense of adaptive back support even before we seat. This sense of invitation was the key inspiration for this project.

Flat-packing detail. There are only 10 screws needed to assemble the entire lounge chair on site. Often cases packaging for lounge chairs can be voluminous in unnecessarily scale and it was our mission to reconsider such a waste as a part of our design development.

We were interested tin finding a simple solution for developing a democratic lounge chair without over engineering. The idea was straight forward and I had this idea for making it flat packing from the start.
