High-rise, sake, Ichendorf, 2022

The original iconic form for the water vessel and the cup was born by playing and connecting two conical volumes. This sake version follows the same appreciated principle. Since borosilicate glass resits well against high temperatures, warming up sake and serving it at 40-50º seemed a piece of cake. But now, I thought about reducing the volume of the carafe to 180ml, which is a single-serving amount, for the sake of the general. Sharing sake is a nice social thing; arriving at a table with two stacked cups that keep the sake and cups warm makes it even better!
