Like Cantinetta chairs, this project underwent numerous optimisation phases during the production analysis to execute the design in the right form at the right price. There are round tables, as well as slightly softened square and rectangular shapes. The idea behind this softening was to have the largest available surface with no sharp corners. This is a family table concept, and having sharp corners is always a concern.
The name Cantinetta comes from “La Cantinetta “, a trattoria where I often have lunch and dinner with my team and friends. Cantinetta also means a small canteen, conveying a family moment at the table.
Tables come in various sizes as well.
